Educational Advocacy
As educators, we believe that any child can thrive given the right environment and support. We have seen this happen in many situations: in public and private schools; in homeschooling programs here at Greenwich Education Group; with gifted learners and learners with disabilities. To help obtain the right support for your child, we offer child advocacy.
What is child advocacy? It is standing with and for your child when you seek assistance from school administrators and teachers. Accommodations for a student with disabilities, appropriate placement, bullying, and homeschooling credit are but a few of the situations where Greenwich Education Group has provided effective help. Child advocacy, in our view, is bringing all parties together to find the optimum solution for a child’s progress.
Advancing the best interests of a child requires experience and sensitivity, as well as knowledge of school administrations and governmental rules and policies. Vicky Newman, Executive Director, leads a team that provides advocacy in the spirit of collaboration and mediation. So many issues affect a child’s education, and Greenwich Education Group is ready to help.

Here is what parents have said about our work:
“We truly thank a universe that serendipitously led us to GEG during a difficult time for our family.”
“Excellence pervades all aspects of GEG.”
“Your…dedication to figuring out a solution was wonderful.” |
